6 Prototype and Experimental Firearms Seen in December 2019 Rock Island Premier Firearms Auction Catalog

December 2019 Rock Island Premiere Firearms Auction is the last large American auction of the year. As always, when its online catalog was published I started browsing it to put together one of TFB’s articles about the rarest and most unusual firearms seen in the largest US auctions. I ended up with a list of lots that I considered most interesting and then realized that my list mostly consists of prototype and experimental firearms. While there are such guns in any Rock Island Premier auction, this one has a notoriously large amount of them many of which are really unique. TFB Review: TriStar Tactical Shotgun

[SHOT 2018] Derya Napoli 100/200 Bullpup Shotguns

Turkish company Derya brought two variants of their new bullpup shotgun to SHOT 2018. The N-100 and N-200 are both semiautomatic, magazine-fed, bullpup shotguns that Derya is awaiting ATF approval for importation into the United States. The Napoli/N series uses Derya 5 or 10 shell magazines (10 shell ones were present at SHOT) and is currently chambered in 12 gauge, but has also been in .410 as well. The design uses some of AR15 parts as well, to include an AR magazine release, bolt release, and AR pistol grip. In addition to this, the design also uses QD mounts as well.

Adler Hunting Arms company, the Turkish shotgun manufacturer mostly known for their lever actions (and many rustled jimmies down under) have introduced a bullpup version of their 12ga. J210 “vertical magazine shotgun”, and an entire new line of .410 shotguns as well.

The Uzkon is a shotgun manufacturer in Turkey. Among their semi auto tactical AR style shotguns they make this bullpup 12 ga semi auto shotgun. It looks very similar to an FN F2000 bullpup rifle.

LA-K12 Bullpup Shotgun

Edward O wrote a review of the QBZ style bullpup shotgun on Outdoorhub.com. The LA-K12 Puma was imported last year into Canada. It is a Chinese made bullpup 12 Ga magazine fed shotgun. According to Edward, the Puma is a collaboration between Lever Arms and the private Kuandian Shotgun Factory in Liaoning, China.
