The classic SA-22 has received a fresh new makeover from Browning. The SA-22 was John Browning’s first semi-automatic rifle chambered in 22LR. Since its introduction in 1914, the SA-22 has widely been considered a high-end firearm hailing from FN Herstal where Browning had sent the manufacturing rights to. Now the SA-22 Challenge sports a new look meant for more modern times and modern accessories.

Browning has introduced a brand new 2021 shotgun. The Maxus II Rifled Deer Shotgun has a number of new features that will set it a notch above your typical deer hunting shotguns including a rifled thick-wall barrel and integrated weaver style rail for one style just to name a few. In addition, the Maxus II will also come in several different camouflage patterns from Mossy Oak.

Some fresh new looks are coming to the Browning Buck Mark pistol lineup for 2021. The new Limited Production Buck Mark suppressor-ready pistols will come in several new trims and will feature integrated Picatinny optics rails, enhanced grips, and unique finishes.

Redditor, IvanTTroll is one of that community’s trailblazers when it comes to 3D printing things gun related. His latest project has been printing pistol frames for Browning Hi-Power parts kits. Ivan said that this has been one of his most favorite projects, so much so that he’s almost assembled enough of them to make a rainbow with all the different frame colors. Seeing some of the sad, lonely parts kits available on the market makes me glad that some people are able to breathe new life into them.

Like their sister company Winchester which SHOT Show Special firearms we covered yesterday, Browning has also released a number of limited edition guns for the SHOT Show 2021. These guns differ from their standard, catalog counterparts by unique finishes, furniture and configuration options. In total, there are 106 Browning SHOT Show Special guns. Let’s see what firearms are included in this list and take a look at some of the most interesting ones.

It was roughly one month ago that TFB broke the news that several companies were working on getting new cartridges approved by SAAMI – the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute, Inc. Two of those cartridges the general public was already aware of in the .277 SIG Fury (from SIG Sauer) and the 6.5 Weatherby Rebated Precision Magnum (6.5 RPM – from Weatherby). Waterfowlers rejoice! Browning has released the second generation of their Maxus semi-auto shotgun – the Maxus II. The new shotgun has a number of redesigned and restyled parts as well as new technologies incorporated into its design to improve over the previous generation. The main new features of this Browning autoloader include the restyled aluminum receiver, oversized controls (bolt handle and bolt catch), redesigned furniture with overmolded rubber grip panels, new SoftFlex cheek pad and  Inflex recoil pad, screw-on magazine cap and ramped trigger guard that helps to guide the shells into the magazine. The debate about whether or not to place gun stickers or other firearm-related material on your vehicle is usually a split, between those that choose not to, and those that want to boldly use their First Amendment right.  As Americans, we’re used to being able to say whatever we feel, but it’s usually directed towards a person or a group of people we’re talking with.  When it comes to displaying gun stickers on our cars, trucks or vans (yes, you can admit to having a minivan to the internet), we don’t get to control who sees that, or what they might do when the opportunity presents itself.

Browning has published a press release announcing the availability of X-Bolt Max Varmint/Target rifles which were first introduced at SHOT Show 2019. This iteration of the company’s X-Bolt rifle is designed to be used in long-range hunting and target shooting. It is suitable for these applications thanks to the new Max stock, heavy profile barrels and several other features.

Browning has already lifted the veil off of their newly redesigned BPS shotguns for the upcoming year 2020 with more mindful features for hunting and shooting. One immediate improvement is the checkered grip surfaces on Walnut stock models and textured grip surfaces on their composite stocked counterparts. While the NEW Browning BPS shotguns look nearly identical to previous ones the difference is in the details. Browning shared these words on their website:

Browning have announced their Maxus with a camouflage pattern from camouflage designers Realtree. The 12 gauge, 26-inch barrel Browning Maxus has been covered with Realtree’s Timber camouflage pattern as a limited availability offering from Browning.
