Shooting from the Hip: The Covert Krink Briefcase (AKS74U)
Essentially the Soviet response to the H&K MP5 covert briefcase, the KGB invented this briefcase in response to a need to covertly carry an AKS74U while guarding high-level dignitaries. Unlike the MP5 briefcase, the AKSU case is designed so that it simply camouflages the rifle in plain sight, allowing a user to easily deploy the rifle by depressing a “trigger” which allows the briefcase to fall apart, leaving the rifle attached to a carrying handle that becomes part of the suitcase.
POTD: CZ Scorpion Briefcase Gun
As a fan of briefcase guns, this intrigues me. Thanks to my friend Erik C. who recently returned from his trip to Berlin for this photo. He shot it at the Berlin Spy Museum. There are some really interesting things going on with this briefcase design. First of all, I have never seen this briefcase gun before. Rusty and I both have briefcases for our MP5Ks. While there have been a couple other homebrew briefcase guns but I have never seen a CZ Scorpion briefcase before.
Colin Furze Builds An Uzi Machine Gun Briefcase
For those not familiar with Colin Furze, he is an eccentric mad tinkerer in England. He has a substantial following on his YouTube channel and he makes some really cool gadgets. I first came across Colin 5 years ago when he made working Wolverine claws from X-Men. Then he made wrist mounted flame throwers based on the Marvel character Pyro. He also made a thermite launcher. Well, his Uzi machine gun briefcase was inspired by the movie Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle.
POTD: A Tale Of Two H&K Briefcases
Ok so it is not really a tale. Just sharing some photos of my MP5 Briefcase next to another MP5 Briefcase. My friend Alex B and I have H&K Briefcases. Well almost like mine. Let’s take a closer look because they are not the same.
Review: H&K MP5K Briefcase And My Modifications
Last year Altra Firearms came across a collection of H&K MP5 parts. One of which was a genuine H&K MP5K briefcase. Now Rusty S. posted up a lightning review of his MP5K briefcase about two years ago. I had always wanted an MP5K Briefcase and there was one for sale very close to me. My friend Scott had posted it up on various groups so I contacted him and I bought it from Altra. The briefcase cost me $2,000. I have heard people say they are $1500 but I have not see them go for that cheap. I knew of one other person near me who had one and he spent $4,000 for his briefcase. Sadly he sold it before I acquired mine.
POTD: Suppressed H&K Briefcase
I know that this defeats the purpose of being discreet and it is not subtle at all. But that isn’t the point. As far as I can tell I have not found another example of someone suppressing an MP5K H&K Briefcase.
POTD: MAC-11 Briefcase
NFASales.com is selling a transferable Mac-11 in .380 acp and it comes with a working briefcase. We all know of the H&K briefcase for the MP5K well there is one for the MAC-11. It is not quite the same as the H&K briefcase though. The H&K briefcase uses a modified claw mount to hold onto the MP5K receiver whereas the Mac-11 is held in with a custom molded interior and velcro straps. The H&K Briefcase has a metal shroud that protects the inside of the case,
POTD: H&K MP7 Briefcase
Independant Studio Service s aka ISS Weapons posted a picture of a rare MP7 Deployment briefcase. I have not found any information on this if it is an actual H&K product like the original MP5K briefcase which you can see Rusty’s lightning review here. The MP5K briefcase was designed to fire the MP5K while it was concealed within the briefcase. The handle was fixed and had a trigger linked to some linkages that would actuate the MP5K trigger.
Lightning Review: H&K MP5K Briefcase: Luggage you can fire
Several years back, I was strolling around the SAR show in Phoenix, having taken care of my most pressing business, when something caught my eye: an H&K MP5K Briefcase. I had an MP5K, and had been on the lookout for cases for some time. Unfortunately, any that I had come across in the past were modified and did not have the STANAG Claw mount. This one had the correct mount and a good price, so I did not pass up the opportunity.
Kakadu Conceal Carry Gear
A great company called Kakadu makes some really fashionable conceal carry gear. Vests, jackets, and briefcases are in their product line. Here I’ll be talking about two items, the Kakadu Hoover Vest and the conceal carry briefcase.
