Bond Arms Firearms Cause CANCER… According to California Prop 65
For full disclosure, Bond Arms firearms do not cause cancer. It is simply the state of California doing what California does… trying to use the government to coddle everyone. So with that being said, we will divert away from any other mild political talk to give you the news. This is a message Bond Arms recently sent out to distributors and gun shops who sell their firearms as a result of the recent ruling from Proposition 65 (Prop 65):
[SHOT 2018] Davidsons Patriotic & Other Exclusives
At SHOT Show 2018 we speak with Christopher Goodall at the Davidsons booth. Chris gives a brief overview of the history of the company – which now offers services to both dealers and individual buyers via galleryofguns.com, and he shows us some of the firearms he’s most excited about.
POTD: Laser Engraving Like None Other
Jeff Forbush of 4Bush Weapon Refinishing has been doing some rather impressive work with his laser engraver. This is not your ordinary laser engraver. It is most likely a fiber laser. Typical laser engravers are CO2 lasers and while they can vaporize and eat away coatings like anodizing and cerakote. But Fiber Lasers can etch into metal as seen by Jeff’s stunning work. What looks like traditional engraving is actually done by a laser. While the laser does most of the work, there is a lot of prep work and designing as well as manipulating the laser settings to get this complex level of detail and multi level appearance.

Boberg XR9-S Field Strip
The Boberg pistols were a line of fascinatingly complex pocket handguns mostly chambered in 9mm that live on in the Bond Arms Bullpup. These interesting pieces are very unconventionally laid out and even feature a cartridge switch like a 1919 or PKM machine gun, but draw from a magazine instead of a belt (which would be cooler). So, whats under the slide?
The Boberg XR9S Is Now The Bond Arms Bullpup [NRA 2016]
At the 2016 NRA Annual Meeting, Texas gunmaker Bond Arms announced that they would be bringing a new incarnation of the Boberg XR series of pistols to the market. Bond Arms bought Boberg last year, and seems very determined to bring that unique pistol to the market at a lower price and with the high reliability expected of a modern carry gun.
Bond Arms Buys Boberg
Bond Arms recently announced that the company purchased the assets and product lines of Boberg Arms Corp. The Texas-based gun manufacturer made the announcement on Facebook.
CA Legal Bond Arms Handguns
Bond Arms announced four new California compliant handguns at the recent NRA show. They are the:
CrossBreed Making Bond Arms Derringer Holsters
At SHOT Show last January I had the pleasure of taking a look at some of Bond Arms’ derringers, and now Cross Breed is announcing they’ll be making their custom-molded holsters to fit them. CrossBreed has a fairly extensive line of holsters that fit a wide variety of guns with different styles. This particular design has a leather back and custom-fit holster. The leather back on these CrossBreed holsters conforms neatly to your hip whether for open or concealed carry and the holster itself keeps a nice grip on your firearm. Although I have not tried this particular CrossBreed holster yet I do have several others and can attest to the fact that they do keep your gun secure while jumping around and bending over. In addition, their close-to-the-body fit allows for greater concealment and security.
TFBTV: Bond Arms, This Much Fun is Somehow Legal
We here at TFB are big fans of Bond Arms. I first met Gordon Bond at a media event in Florida, and there he invited me to take a factory tour back home in Texas to see what his company is all about. What I saw was nothing short of amazing; Modern machining technology combined with meticulous quality control yields the world’s finest derringers (which have been used by Cowboy Action Champions for the last 15 years to take home the big prize).
