True Velocity Ammunition have released a statement confirming that they have been selected to progress to the next stage of the Australian Army’ LAND 159 Force Modernization Program. TV will be partnering with Australian company NIOA, who were tasked by the Australian Defense Forces, back in July, with identifying companies to provide next generation capabilities.

The Australian Government has announced that the Australian Defense Force will receive a further 8,500 EF88 rifles. This comes on top of the 30,000 already ordered and procured from the Thales owned Lithgow Arms. The move comes as Australia announced a major realignment of their defense policy, we covered this in more detail over at Overt Defense.

Qioptiq announced that the company secured a contract to supply the Australian Defense Forces (ADF) with its Kite In-Line Weapon Sights. The sights are part of the Australia Department of Defence LAND 125 3C project.
