The SIG Sauer MCX Virtus has been an extremely configurable and popular 5.56 rifle that really scratches that itch for those who want something other than a standard AR-15. However, when it comes time to do maintenance on the Virtus, many users have complained that when shooting from a barrier or other supported position, the handguard would flex significantly causing your attached laser device to lose zero even when minor pressure is being applied. The new patent pending Arisaka Zero Retention Clamp (ZRC) greatly reduces zero shift to lasers and handguard mounted iron sights with this version being specifically designed for the MCX Virtus equipped with either the SIG Sauer SD handguard or Midwest Industries Suppressor M-LOK handguard.

Arisaka Defense has some of the best aftermarket products when it comes to bolting stuff onto your rifles. New for the month of May is their new Dual Side Scout Mount (DSSM-M) and their M-LOK to M-LOK Adapter 40° MMA40 mount. Each of these allows you to customize and open up your rifle to more lighting and switching options so you can have it running just the way you like it.

Slick, minimal, and effective, the hand and finger stops from Arisaka Defense have found their way onto our favorite rifles, pistols, and PDWs. The newest iteration, the Hand Stop M-Lok, will look right at home on your favorite M-LOK compatible firearm.

There are so many cool optics available to us as shooters. We can have a whole box full of them, but it doesn’t do us any good if we don’t have a reliable way to mount them. The hand stop or indexer is a popular aftermarket piece that many AR-15 users choose to run for one reason or another. I have recently used several of them to serve as a direct indexing point so that my light and IR illuminator combo is always where I expect them to be. Other people use them as a great way to bring their hand to the same place on the rifle every time so that their grip is consistent for competition purposes. Arisaka Defense has expanded their Indexer lineup to include new attachment methods for both KeyMod and LWRC compatibility making their Indexers compatible with almost any rifle currently on the market.

As soon as the new Magpul MLOK Cantilever Mount was up for sale, I immediately bought one as I was curious to see how much better it was compared to previous mount setups.
