MSBS "Grot" Modular Assault Rifle from FB Radom Displayed at [AUSA 2017]

At the 2017 Association of the United States Army annual meeting, gunmaker FB Radom was present at the Polish pavilion, displaying their MSBS modular assault rifle, recently named “Grot” (arrowhead) by the Polish government. The new rifle has been selected by the Polish government to replace their legacy AK fleet, many of which are the upgraded 5.56mm “Beryl” variant. The first order for the new rifles was signed in mid-September, and will result in the delivery of 53,000 rifles to the Polish government, which is expected to be completed by the end of November.

Fighting With the Kurds in Raqqa, Polish SDF Volunteer "Archer"

“Archer” is the public nickname of a Polish volunteer currently fighting in the highly contested city of Raqqa with the Kurdish Peshmerga forces working right now to take it from the so called Islamic State. Countless U.S. and European volunteers have gone over to Syria to help out the Kurds in their struggle, some of them even giving their lives in the conflict. But from the amount of information that we receive from these volunteers, their direct involvement in the action, and their previous experience levels, this former Polish soldier appears to be very hard to beat when compared to many of the others since 2014 when American Jordan Matson became one of the first widely covered volunteers.

IO Importing Polish "Archer" AK (Beryl) with Mil-spec Collapsable Stock

IO Inc. are importing a civilian version of Polish Kbs wz. 1996 Beryl which they call the Archer (Łucznik, as in the Łucznik Arms Factory in the city of Radom where the rifle is name, translates into English as Archer or Bowman).
