NEW Strike Industries 33-Round Smoke Shade AR-15 Magazine
Strike Industries have released a new translucent or as they call it smoke shade .223/5.56 AR-15 magazine that apparently replaces the black polymer magazine in their catalog as the latter can’t be found on their website anymore. Besides the clear design which is of course for seeing the amount of ammunition in the magazine, the new smoke shade Strike AR-15 magazine has an increased capacity (33 rounds), is made of new SI Polymer Extreme material as well as features an improved baseplate design and improved spring design and coating.

Last year, we reported about this 60-round AR-15 magazine displayed by Schmeisser at SHOT Show 2018. Back then, it was still in developments and the company didn’t allow to take the magazine apart and photograph its internal parts. This year, at SHOT Show 2019, they were ready to show the internal mechanism of the magazine. Let’s take a look.
AR-15 Coupling Magazines by CROSS Industries
A company called CROSS Industries makes 10 round AR-15 magazines that have a specially designed base which allows coupling the magazines by connecting the floorplates together. The result is an assembly consisting of two 10 round magazines oriented upside down with overall dimensions similar to a standard 30-round magazine.
