Apex Tactical makes a wide range of handgun parts and upgrades. The venerable Browning Hi-Power is one of the guns that Apex has paid attention to. They recently announced a new mag well and extended magazines for that gun.

CZ-USA has just announced another new version of their P-10 pistol, the CZ P-10 F Competition. Earlier today, CZ-USA released a concealed carry version of the P-10 pistol as well. The CZ P-10 F Competition model was designed with, of course, competitors in mind, and features a longer slide, and thus a longer sight radius, and comes optics ready. The P-10 F Competition also features a titanium nitride coated five-inch barrel that has a slightly wider chamber to accommodate a wide variety of ammunition. CZ-USA’s description can be seen below.

Apex delivers an ever-expanding lineup of reliable and high-quality trigger kits for various types of pistols. On August 10th they announced that they would be adding a new CZ P-10 Action Enhancement Trigger Kit to their existing lineup.  The P-10 is CZ’s offering to the compact striker-fired community and is often employed as a concealed carry pistol. The new P-10 Action Enhancement Trigger Kit will still be the duty and carry capable after the modification and according to Apex, the trigger should come out as smoother, lighter, and better.

Today, we will walk you through the elaborate process of installing an Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger into a Springfield Armory Hellcat. This should not only improve your Hellcat’s trigger pull, but also help you become more deeply familiarized with your pistol’s internal workings. Apex Tactical Specialties announces the release of its new Action Enhancement Kit for the SDVE and SD model pistols from Smith & Wesson. The new kit combines two of Apex’s wildly popular upgrades for the SDVE and SD model pistols into one convenient package that delivers the best overall performance upgrade.

Unlike previous Glock models where triggers and trigger bars can be more or less switched between models of the same caliber and frame, Glock changed some of the design features, most prominently being the ambidextrous slide lock which therefore changes the shape of the trigger bar in the Gen 5, in addition changing the trigger housing. That means that previous trigger designs made for any of the generations beforehand will not work in the Gen 5. This applies to previous Apex triggers made for earlier Gen Glocks as well. Ever since the Gen 5 was publicly released, the company has been working on and testing the compatibility of various parts in addition to prototyping their own. One part that has fit from earlier Generations is their Apex Failure Resistant Extractor.

It looks like someone over at Apex let the cat out of the bag a bit early! OK, we might have compromising photos of someone within Apex that we swore would never get out as long as they played ball. The Apex Grade Barrel and update for on the M&P M2.0 Forward set trigger wasn’t due to be released til tomorrow, but we managed to get it a bit early to show you guys first.

I like Apex triggers. I also like America. But I never was much of a fan of the Apex Freedom Edition triggers until now. I find that I have an unnatural desire to buy one fo the newly announced blue freedom edition triggers. Why? Because they are blue and look nothing short of amazing.

Much to the elation of M&P 40 police trade in guns like myself, Apex has released a conversion barrel that allows you to shoot 9mm. With the new M&P 2.0 being released this is a well-timed product launch because I imagine that many police departments that are still running the M&P 40 will likely trade them in towards the new and improved 2.0.
