The new Amend2 AICS magazines are now shipping to retailers. These magazines are compatible with short action calibers. Let’s take a look at the features.

At the SHOT 2024, Amend2 announced the expansion of their AMC Modular Chassis product line with the introduction of new stock options. The Amend2 Modular Chassis (AMC) series, which made its debut last year, was designed to offer firearm enthusiasts a modular bolt-action rifle bedding and stock combination that prioritized ease of use and consistent performance. Building upon the established platform, the fresh arrivals in the AMC series include a black polymer option, a polymer hybrid, and a notably lightweight carbon fiber stock.

Introduced at SHOT Show 2020, the Amend2 S300 Hybrid grip module is now available for purchase. The main design feature that sets this grip module apart from the competition and the reason it’s called Hybrid is that it is compatible with SIG Sauer P365 magazines and P320 slide assemblies and fire control units. As stated by Amend2, “the result is an easily convertible concealed carry firearm, that can transition back to a full size duty gun in seconds“.

Amend2 Magazines have announced that their 6.5 Grendel 10-round AR-15 magazines which were earlier shown in past industry exhibitions, are now available for purchase. The Amend2 6.5 Grendel magazines have a unique double to single stack construction that is designed to increase the reliability with the 6.5 Grendel cartridge.

While at SHOT Show, it is hard to get eyes on everything and you can miss stuff but thanks to my friend Paul for letting me know this existed. I swung by the Amend2 booth just to check out their new S300 Hybrid grip module.

Originally known for their AR15 magazines with floor plate retainer in the shape of a bright red “2”, the Idaho based company Amend2 has introduced an entire line of Glock magazines as a part of SHOT 2018. The magazines use a glass fiber filled nylon magazine frame (no internal metal body), and have a very gracious baseplate that shares some contour lines from H&K USP magazines at a distance (with the exception of the Glock 42,43, and 31 compatible magazines). Followers are bright red and the floor plate retainer is the same “2” shape as the earlier AR15 magazines that company was founded on. The back of the magazines have round count indexing holes as well.
