Welcome back to another article in our weekly Friday Night Lights series. Last week we took a look at a long-since-discontinued cooled thermal imager called the FLIR SeeSpotIII. Well, today we take a look at a laser aiming module of the same vintage. Circa 2003 NVEC Inc came out with the ATILLA-200 laser/illuminator.

Mike of Phantom Hill flew into SHOT Show on Thursday and met up with me and Hop to show us his latest laser. Mike brought his newest iteration of the CTF2 laser and it has been enhanced from user feedback. Let’s take a close look at this prototype.

Rheinmetall is a German defense contractor. They make various military products like electro-optics, night vision and aiming systems. Earlier we saw the GN1 from SIMRAD which is now owned by Rheinmetall. Today we will take a look at their Vario-Ray LLM (Laser Light Module).

For a specific end-user that wanted to rule the night, Surefire designed the XC2-IRC. The unit remains unnamed, but they had a requirement for a very compact IR light and IR aiming laser in combination.

Crimson Trace produce over 350 different laser sights and 2019 means the addition of a few more models as well as 11 new custom-designed riflescopes that range from a 1-4X24mm up to a long-range 5-25X56mm.

TNVC Night Fighter Armed Professional is a course put on by Tactical Night Vision Company in order to provide vetted civilians and professionals with the tools to fight under varied lighting conditions. Students are expected to already have an understanding of low light and no light operations.
