Wheelgun Wednesday: Throwing It Back With The Ruger Service Six
Thanks for joining us for another installment of Wheelgun Wednesday here on TFB. This is my first time writing one of these posts, so it is fitting that I talk about my first revolver. This 4-inch Ruger Police Service Six has been with me since my teenage years and it continues to serve me well.
Henry Announces Big Boy Revolvers and .360 Buckhammer Rifles
Henry Repeating Arms is a bastion of lever-action guns, offering a slew of popular old-school repeaters hearkening back to the originals invented by their namesake more than a century and a half ago. Since the modern company’s founding in 1996, they have exclusively produced long guns and only rarely deviated from the lever-based format, excepting a handful of models foraying into single-shot/bolt/semi-auto/pump territory. They have never previously produced a handgun, but that’s all changing now. Wheelgun fans rejoice and meet the new Henry Big Boy Revolvers.

Just Announced: SIG P-229 Limited Edition Carry Models
In recent months SIG Sauer has put a great deal of effort into improving and modifying the P-229. I first announced the Legion P-229 on October the 5th ( The Legion 229). Just yesterday I received an email from SIG Sauer announcing two more new models in the P-229 lineup will be available very soon. One could actually say there are three models. The new models are the SAS 40 S&W/.357 SIG as well as the Nitron in 40 S&W/.357 SIG. Both of these pistols can be converted to 9mm with the use of the new X-Change 9mm kit.
POTD: The Grey Ghost (Suppressed Short Barreled Rifle)

Gun Review: Sig Sauer P-320
Sig has certainly jumped forward of other companies in the polymer gun market. With it’s modular design the 320 can be configured to fit just about any shooter at a reasonable cost. When looking through the Sig Pro Shop you see one wall with a lot of different frames from compact to full size as well as assorted grip sizes. The price runs $59.00 for a bare frame. It’s worth noting that grips from the 250 will work with the 320.
