[SHOT 2018] Hogue's New H&K, Sig Knives! And Introduces some new Grip Sleeves
Hogue Grips is introducing an improved version of their well-known rubber wraparound grips for numerous handgun designs. This new line of grips are designed to fit much tighter around a handgun to allow a better purchase on the gun itself. These grips are also incorporating a beavertail that extends up the backstrap of the handguns they are being used with.
GRAPEVINE: US Army Pays $207 Per Pistol to SIG SAUER for M17 Modular Handguns
With SIG’s recent win of the $580 million dollar contract for the US Army’s Modular Handgun System pistol, many are asking just how the American outlet of the Swiss-German SIG Sauer could have won such a large contract, especially against what many perceived was the strongest contender, Glock. Some saw the very text of the MHS solicitation as being biased towards SIG’s entry (which I do not think is true), while others assumed some backdoor deal must have occurred.
Gun Review: Sig Sauer P-320
Sig has certainly jumped forward of other companies in the polymer gun market. With it’s modular design the 320 can be configured to fit just about any shooter at a reasonable cost. When looking through the Sig Pro Shop you see one wall with a lot of different frames from compact to full size as well as assorted grip sizes. The price runs $59.00 for a bare frame. It’s worth noting that grips from the 250 will work with the 320.
