TFB Review: Palmetto State Armory PA-15 300AAC Blackout Pistol
Alright alright, I know you may be surprised to see the guy that talks about old stuff and makes fun of all the tacticool folks out there reviewing a 300AAC Blackout pistol. I will own the fact that I really genuinely am usually disinterested in anything that looks like this but when Palmetto State Armory reached out to TFB, I took the opportunity to work with a caliber and specific pistol offering for a reason; I’ve never shot 300 Blackout. Queue the gasps and shock! Let’s dive right into the PSA PA-15 300AAC Blackout Pistol!
TFB Review: Fort Scott Munitions TUI Ammo Part 1
Fort Scott Munitions is a manufacturer of bullets and complete loaded cartridges, specializing in solid copper spun (SCS) bullets designed to tumble upon impact, hence the acronyms TUI and SCS applying to their projectiles. They’ve sought to make a bullet that couples a lot of penetration with the trait of tumbling upon impact with soft tissue. Their bullets are also engineered to retain over 95% of mass after impact.

.300 BLK FNH SCAR
Walking around SHOT Show, some things stand out and catch your eye. This all blue SCAR 16S stood out to me. At first glance I thought it was just custom Cerakoted SCAR. But upon looking closer, it is chambered in .300blk.
.300 BLK MP5 By Brethren Arms
Brethern Arms is making MP5 clones but they are pushing envelopes and making them in .300 blackout.

CMMG Launches AR Pistol Line
CMMG has now released the line of pistols, which are available now on their website. Made from their popular line of rifles, the pistols will have the same high quality that CMMG is known for. I foresee their line of pistols being popular, especially after the recent ATF letter about the Sig brace. Set to be available in 9mm and .300BLK, both are a great choice for a PDW. Press release after the break.
Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine in .300 AAC BLK
Savage Arms is the latest firm to announced that have adopted the .300 AAC BLK. Along with .223 Rem. and .308 Win they are chambering the Model 10 Precision Carbine in .300 AAC BLK. The Precision Carbine is part of their Law Enforcement line of rifles. I have never thought of the .300 BLK as a law enforcement sniper cartridge, but there is no reason it could not be employed in this role. I do think it would make a decent hunting cartridge for small deer and hogs.
