Truvelo is a South African firearms manufacturing company which we know for their large caliber sniper and anti-materiel rifles. In IDEX they had a small booth where they managed to fit their newest baby and two of its bigger siblings.

The Ukrainian  Ministry of Internal Affairs has published a news release telling about the visit of Arsen Avakov, head of the ministry, to FORT company where a new handgun ammunition line was launched. According to Mr. Avakov, this new production line will allow to completely fulfill the demand of the Ukrainian Border Guard, National Guard, Police, and other law enforcement agencies.

In the late ’30s, Soviet Union started to experiment with anti-tank rifle designs. One of the design approaches was to make a normal caliber (7.62mm) cartridge with an enlarged case capable of holding enough powder to accelerate the 185-230 grain projectiles to high muzzle velocities of over 1,000 M/s (about 3,300 fps).
