Savage just introduced a new model of the famed 110-series bolt action. The new  Trail Hunter features a Hogue Overmolded stock and a threaded medium contour barrel. Let’s see what other features it brings to the table. 

For those who may be gearing up for western big game hunts this fall a new contender to the market is the Savage Arms 110 High Country. If you have been watching Savage Arms this last year you may have noticed that they are upgrading and re-doing all of their Model 110 rifles. This includes improvements on prior models and the introduction of a lot of new ones entirely. Many of them are specialty rifles or dedicated to a specific facet of shooting/hunting. The mission of the 110 High Country is long-range hunting. The specifications for this new offering can be read below as presented by Savage Arms:

Savage’s MSR 10 Hunter is now available in the 338 Federal chambering. Since its introduction in 2006, the 338 Federal has established itself as an extremely versatile, high-performance big game cartridge.
Shipments of these firearms are currently being delivered to dealers.

Savage introduces its new line of Savage 110 Accufit rifles with stocks featuring adjustable length of pull and comb. They come in a variety of configurations, including a Scout style.
