POTD: Republic of Korea Marines With Daewoo K1A, M320 and M240B
Photo Of The Day and we get one of the most detailed images of the Daewoo K1A in use ever. It’s in the hands of a Republic of Korea (ROK) Marine assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division, during a live-fire range with U.S. Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit at Suseong-Ri, South Korea, 2024.
Below: A Republic of Korea (ROK) Marine assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division, fires an M240B machine gun mounted to a U.S. Marine Corps Ultra-Light Tactical Vehicle.
Below: A Republic of Korea (ROK) Marine assigned to the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st ROK Marine Division, fires an M320 grenade launcher. Note the red dot, can you identify the model?
“Integrated training between the two countries strengthens the ROK-U.S. Alliance through bilateral, joint training, contributing toward combined capability in defense of the Korean Peninsula.”
Below: The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System was used as well.
