Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to TFB’s Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the new YHM R45 Multi-Host Suppressor. Last week we got a general introduction to the Silencer Central Banish 46 multi-host suppressor. This week we screw on the piston system and put the Banish 46 though some subsonic pistol caliber ammo testing. Let’s see how quiet we can get these host combinations in both the short and long configurations.
Concealed Carry Corner: The Importance Of Magazines
Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we looked at various products that help carry concealed and some items to avoid entirely. If you happened to miss that article, be sure to check it out by clicking the link here. This week, I want to discuss a topic that not many consider in the overall concealed carry world which is magazine selection. With countless options and manufacturers of magazines, it can be tough to know exactly which one is best for you and your carry needs. Let’s take a closer look at what options are on the market and the importance of magazines.
The Rimfire Report: The Mobius 22LR 1911 Conversion from Vudoo Gun Works
Hello and welcome back to another edition of The Rimfire Report! This ongoing series is all about the rimfire firearm world and its many different types of guns, gear, and shooting sports! Last week we took a look at Springfield’s new 2020 Rimfire rifles which are not only compatible with 10/22 pattern magazines but also come in a wide variety of options running from the budget-friendly target models to the more refined AAA Grade Turkish Walnut Classic editions. More match ammunition is on the way so we can do some more serious testing with those rifles to see if they can be honed in a bit in the accuracy department (we’ll also be using more suitable optics for making tight groups). Speaking of match-grade ammunition, it seems that just about every firearm I’ve had the opportunity to review in recent memory has either needed or would have benefitted from match-grade rimfire ammo – and that rings true for our subject this week: the Vudoo Gun works Möbius 1911-22 Conversion. Vudoo’s own offering to the competition and target grade 22LR pistol is an amalgamation of Vudoo Gun Works’ Möbius 1911 pistol and their 22LR conversion assembly that claims to be capable of producing a sub 1″ group at 50 yards with match-grade ammunition. I don’t have match-grade pistol ammunition just yet, but today we’re going to test out the Möbius 22LR pistol with some other common ammo we do have to get some initial impressions on it.
SILENCER SATURDAY #290: Universal Big Bore – Silencer Central Banish 46
Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to TFB’s Silencer Saturday brought to you by Yankee Hill Machine, manufacturers of the new YHM R45 Multi-Host Suppressor. Today we take out the Silencer Central Banish 46, a universal pistol and rifle silencer that can handle anything from .22LR to .45-70 Gov’t. Will the Banish 46 change my mind on multi-caliber and multi-host suppressors being a primary solution? Let’s take a look.
TFB Review: Glock 45 MOS Reporting For Duty?
Since the original Glock 17 was produced in 1982, there has been about nine different configurations of barrel lengths and grip sizes, but today, we’ll take a look at the curious “crossover” Glock 45 MOS. For those new to Glock pistols, the G45 is chambered in 9mm and features a full-size grip that accommodates the standard 17-round magazine, yet has a compact (4.02 inches) barrel. The “MOS” stands for Modular Optic System and MOS pistols come ready from the factory for a red dot sight of your choosing. Last year, I heard of police departments near me that had decided to issue the Glock 45 MOS as their standard-issue pistol, which made me pause to think “Why?”.
Rossi Brawler .410 Gauge/.45 Long Colt… $200 Single-Shot Pistol!?
Back in the day… there used to be all kinds of break-action, single-shot firearms that people could shoot, hunt, and play with in abundant cartridge offerings. You had your Thompson Contenders, New England Firearms (NEF) Pardners, Harrington & Richardson (H&R) SB1 or SB2, and many others. Nowadays, your options are very limited, if not, non-existent. Now, Rossi USA is revitalizing that category by introducing the Rossi Brawler!
Concealed Carry Corner: What And What Not To Carry
Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we talked about a concealed carry gun size guide. If you missed out on last week’s article, be sure to click the link here to check it out. This week, I’ve seen a ton of newer people carrying improper holsters and interesting ammo choices. There’s a plethora of fantastic holsters and ammo on the market but there’s a fair amount of poor options as well. Let’s take a closer look at what and what not to carry.
How Many Guns Can One Person Own?
Just for the record, no, I haven’t started writing for the mainstream media, and if someone asked me “How pro-gun are you?”, I’d show them a photo of a battleship. We’ve all had a good laugh whenever the media announces that someone was found with “an arsenal” that included two pistols, a rifle, a scope and (gasp) 1000 rounds of ammo. However, the question still remains, how many guns can one person own? I suggest there are several limits – let’s explore.
FN Reflex Review: Top Competitor or Late to the Game?
In this video, James Reeves reviews the FN Reflex and compares it to the SIG P365, which is perhaps the most popular micro-compact pistol on the market. James discusses the features of this new micro-compact pistol from FN America. It is a slim, one-inch pistol that is easy to conceal and carry. The Reflex is chambered in 9mm and has a 3.3-inch barrel. It is striker fired and has a capacity of 11 or 15 rounds. The Reflex also has an optional factory-milled slide for mounting a micro red dot sight in the Holosun K-pattern. James also tests the reliability of the FN Reflex with 540 rounds of mixed ammunition, including personal defense hollow points.

Finding that sweet spot where you have a firearm big enough for your hand yet be able to conceal it easily is the place everyone wants to eventually find to carry comfortably. Let’s take a closer look at my interpretation of a carry gun size guide.
TFB Review: Dlah Designs Beretta 92 RDO Flush Optics Plate
In recent years, we have witnessed a significant transformation in the handgun industry’s offerings, with a notable shift towards optics-ready models. Nowadays, it’s almost unusual to encounter a new pistol that doesn’t come equipped with optics. This emerging expectation has prompted companies to modify their older pistol designs to accommodate these advancements. The timeless Beretta 92 has proven itself adaptable to the changing times, exemplified by the exceptional 92X RDO. While the 92 is already an outstanding firearm, its conversion to an optics-ready configuration poses certain challenges. That’s where the Dlah Designs Beretta 92 RDO Flush Optics Plate comes into play, aiming to optimize the RDO variant to its fullest potential. So, without further ado, let’s dive right into the review!

Concealed Carry Corner: Levels Of Carry Guns
Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we took a look at whether it’s better to be self-taught or start off by taking training. Both had their perks and it was a great conversation in the comments so thank you to everyone who left their thoughts in the comment section. If you happened to miss last week’s article, be sure to click the link here. Recently I’ve heard a number of people say they don’t want to carry a concealed firearm because it’s too expensive to get set up. Back at SHOT Show 2023, during the SIG Sauer Range Day, we got to look at the new SIG Sauer Electro-Optics Red Dot, the ROMEO-M17.
