TFB Review: Gen 5 Glock 34 MOS – Am I a Glock Guy Now?
Glock is a pretty big name in the game of handguns. That is a given. I personally am not the biggest fan of the platform from the outside-looking-in perspective. In short, I’m not much of a Glock guy. It has nothing to do with me trying to be different. They have just never been my speed. That does not mean I do not have the utmost admiration and appreciation for the design. The handful of people who know me know there is only one Glock I have said that I would be tempted to purchase. The Glock 34. Well, Glock was kind enough to send along the latest and greatest Gen 5 Glock 34 MOS for me to try out. Did it make me a Glock guy? Let’s dive into the review!

Guns of a Conflict: The Battle of Mogadishu
The Battle of Mogadishu, also known as the Black Hawk Down incident, is a pivotal event in modern military history that took place in Somalia on October 3-4, 1993. Let’s take a closer look at the answer to the question “Is retention shooting a good idea?”.

Sound off about this device in the comments.
Pistols of "The Boondock Saints" Movie
While being almost 25 years old, The Boondock Saints, a violent tale of two brothers cleansing their hometown streets of Boston is certainly a cult classic as it spawned too many sequels that did not live up to the quality of the first entry. Throughout the film, there are some great action sequences and a ton of pistols displayed on screen. Does anyone else think that the director of this movie always used the Akimbo perk in Modern Warfare 2?
Is the FN Reflex Late to the Party or the New Star 9mm Micro Compact?
I’ve had the opportunity to test out, shoot, and own pretty much every single iteration of the 9mm micro-compact category of pistols. Since the introduction of the SIG Sauer P365, every company has strived to match the groundbreaking and quite honestly “game-changing” features set that the P365 offered concealed carriers and shooters. While FN pistols haven’t been my favorite, there have been some notable releases like the FN Five-seveN as well as the 509 Tactical that have impressed me quite a bit with the Five-seveN being the dream gun of pretty much anyone who has watched Battle Star Galactica or played Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. FN’s newest offering, however, doesn’t have the backup of the silver screen or the video game industry this time, but what does it have to offer? I’ve had my hands on an FN Reflex for a while now and today I’ll share with you my initial thoughts on it, and where I think it falls within the highly competitive market of micro-compact 9mm pistols.

It can be hard to know exactly what the best route is for various situations, so I decided to make a list of the most common questions to go over. Let’s take a look at the best carry spots for daily tasks.

Now they are making 2011 pistols as are many of the other custom 1911 manufacturers like Nighthawk Customs and Chambers Customs.

Back at SHOT Show 2023, BG Defense announced their EG 11, their own variation of the 1911 double stack style firearm. Concealed Carry Corner: Carry Rules To Break
Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we took a look at some of the best to worst carry positions when concealing a firearm. If you happened to miss that article, click the link here to check it out. This week, I want to go over a few different topics I have recently thought about. In general, it is good to have rules when carrying a concealed firearm. Certain situations challenge these rules and in certain situations, it makes sense to even break these rules we set for ourselves. I’ll give you examples of situations where it made sense to go against conventional thinking and go against my own rules. Let’s take a look at what carry rules to break in certain situations.

Our friend, Cédric Armurier happened across a nice example of the 629 Master Hunter when a customer requested some work done on one. Cédric provided the photos you see here, and Smith & Wesson assisted with some background details about the Master Hunter model.
