Zastava Arms USA Now Offering Factory California Compliant M70

Some of us aren’t fortunate enough to live in a state that allows for things like threaded barrels, standard capacity magazines, or even pistol grips. Before some of you inevitably chime in with “jUsT MOvE“, please understand that moving to a whole new state is a lot more involved than leaving your parent’s basement. And Zastava Arms USA is there for you with their California Compliant M70.

Are AK Recoil Buffers a Necessity or Just Snake Oil?

As time has rolled on from the heydays of AK ownership in the US (the mid to late ’80s and the mid-2000s), something that has always been around, whether in the back of a sportsman’s catalog, Gun Rags, or your favorite firearm accessory website, you can find AK recoil buffers for sale. Touted as a solution to the violent recoil (let me just roll my eyes for a moment … there, that’s out of the way) of the AK rifle, as well as its apparent tendency to beat itself to death due to over gassing.  The droves of people new to the AK scene might not know what these are or if they actually work.

Surprisingly, we have not reviewed an AK-V, that is until now. When PSA asked if we wanted to review some of their firearms, I jumped at the opportunity to check out the AK-V pistol. I had some issues out of the gate, some of it was the gun and most of it was the ammo but other than that, the gun is awesome. Let’s take a closer look at this AK-styled PCC.
