I know it's not the Philippines where it was filmed or Vietnam where the movie takes place in but I have the overwhelming urge to say it...

Yes I saw a Bangalore in our ammo dump back in Viet Nam (C/75 Ranger). Not sure what they thought we were going to do with it, raid a POW camp or something but I never received any training on its use.
