POTD: USASOC International Sniper Competition
Photo Of The Day and we go back to last spring to check on a competitor in the United States Army Special Operations Command International Sniper Competition, as he ejects a spent shell casing from his rifle after firing at a long-distance target at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 2023.
There are some pretty interesting rifles, optics, lasers and other gear in these images.
Nineteen teams competed in the the USASOC International Sniper Competition where instructors from the United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School designed a series of events that challenged the two-person teams’ ability to work together, firing range, speed and accuracy in varied types of environments.
