Apex Optics introduced their latest innovation at SHOT 2024 with the Edge 1-10×24 riflescope, featuring the new and unique HCR reticle which adapts to varying magnifications. Designed with versatility in mind, the HCR reticle functions as a multi-part red dot at lower magnification (1-5x), ideal for close-range targets. When adjusting from 6x to the maximum 10x magnification, the reticle transforms into a modified Christmas tree style, catering to long-distance shooting preferences.

The new scope features a premium ED Japanese APO glass which delivers an impressive 99.7% light transmission. The craft behind the Apex Edge scope is attributed to Japan Optics which ensures the device is dry argon purged and sealed, enhancing its durability and performance in the field. Additional features such as the stainless steel locking turrets with an elevation zero stop demonstrate that each aspect was carefully engineered for reliability and user convenience. Fixed parallax is set to 150 yards, making the scope a sound choice for a broad range of shooting activities.

Apex Optics stands behind its Edge riflescope with a lifetime warranty, illustrating the brand’s confidence in its product. U.S. customers benefit from stateside warranty service, while Canadian patrons receive support directly within Canada—indicating a specialized approach to customer satisfaction.

Product Specs:

– 34mm hard-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum tube body
– 24mm objective lens
– Milliradian reticle and turret combination
– 40 mil elevation adjustment
– 10 mil per turn elevation turret
– 11-position illumination settings with 2 night vision modes
– Fast-focus eyepiece

The Edge 1-10×24 with the HCR reticle is a promising addition to Apex Optics’ lineup, and it will be intriguing to see how it stands the test of time in various shooting environments.

Other models from the company’s previous offerings have set a precedent for quality and ingenuity, hinting that the Edge riflescope will follow suit in Apex Optics’ history of reliable and functional designs.

Why doesn't anyone make an actually dusk/dawn useful scope? Like, something slick, lightweight in 1.5-6x40 or so. Instead of the whole operator LPVO crap with the tight eyebox and bad lowlight performance

Wonder what the field of view is at 1x?

@CM I just looked it up.......

      FOV @ 100y = 105.8 ft

That is like the tiniest I've ever read of in a modern scope. I really hope it's a typo and that they meant to type in "145.8 ft" or something ...... but if 105.8 is the number, it's not good!
