SIG Sauer has two new models of rifle scopes intended for DMR use. The Tango-DMR series comes in at a price point below the Tango 6 line but above the Tango-MSR family. Let’s take a closer look at the features.

Sig Sauer @ TFB:

First up is the 3-18×44 model. Weighing in at 25.5 ounces and with an MSRP of $1299.99, this model of Tango-DMR lines up with some popular scope options for accuracy-oriented AR-10 and AR-15 builds. The reticle options are MOA- or MRAD-based crosshairs with simple windage and elevation hash marks.

Next up is the big boy, the 5-30×56. It has Christmas tree-style reticles in MOA or MRAD. The 5-30×56 weighs in at 31 ounces and has an MSRP of $1499.99.

Both versions have 34mm main tubes and turrets with 25 MOA/10 MRAD per revolution. The windage turrets are capped rather than exposed, and the elevation turrets are locking designs with zero stops. First focal plane reticles are standard, as would be expected on this type of optic. Magnification throw levers are also included. All models include illuminated reticles.

From the manufacturer:

Building upon SIG SAUER’S lineage of innovative hunting and precision optics, the all-new TANGO-DMR lineup blends a rugged military-inspired design with ultralight functionality that blurs the lines between hunting and tactical precision. Featuring a 34mm maintube with SIG SAUER’S new multi-lock zero stop elevation dial, the TANGO-DMR provides generous elevation travel making it easier than ever to take your shots with pinpoint accuracy.

Built around SIG’s most advanced optical prescription to date, the shockproof, fogproof, waterproof construction ensures performance in the most challenging environments. Available in multiple reticle configurations that include solutions for both MRAD and MOA shooters, the TANGO-DMR is the high-performance riflescope you’ve been waiting for.
