Federal is Shipping Gold Medal CenterStrike 6.5 Creedmoor & .308 Win

Federal Premium had announced their new line of Gold Medal CenterStrike ammunition heading into SHOT Show 2023, and now they are beginning to get some of that ammo out the door! Throughout this summer, they have been shipping .308 Win Match-Grade loads to dealers and now they have some 6.5 Creedmoor ready as well. All 3 of these offerings are currently available on Federal Premium’s website.

For the elders among us, you might remember Federal’s Gold Medal Match series of ammunition from not too long ago. The Gold Medal CenterStrike series looks to be very similar by offering handloaded quality ammunition to shooters without the tedious time of reloading ammo yourself. All of the specs for this group of ammo can be read below as well as Federal’s press release statement:

If you are one of those people who has a discerning taste for accuracy in your ammo, but maybe don’t have enough time to reload yourself, this ammo might be right up your alley. There are plans to introduce a .223 Rem 77 Grain offering this fall to the public, and who knows what the future might bring and SHOT Show 2024.     GMM is the reason I don't reload. It consistently turns every rifle I put it in into a laser. I'm sure I might be able to squeeze an extra tenth of an inch out by reloading, but it just isn't worth the investment to me.

      @W B GMM is good stuff. The only one that hasn't shot well is their GMM for 22LR. My Savage MK2 made it look like buckshot at 50 yards. Then again my Savage has champagne tastes. Eley Match and Federal Ultra Match make sub minute groups at 100 yards.
