POTD: Italian Hand Luggage
Photo Of The Day and we are looking at a Victrix Corvo V, a sniper rifle in 50 BMG with a convenient carrying handle underneath. Note that there is a spotter in front of the sniper, they blend in as one person.
Victrix USA LLC sells these if you’re prepared to spend $13,387.90. For that you get a unique .50 BMG (12.7×99 mm) sniper rifle with a barrel length of 27”, lapped and fluted barrel in AISI 420 match grade. The weight is 13.2 kg (29.10 lb), with an empty magazine and no riflescope.
Victrix calls it “Hand luggage”, but I’m sure most airlines wouldn’t agree. That’s unless you fly with the U.S. Air Force I guess.
17.000 joules of energy, in just over a meters, that’s the length of the case carrying a Victrix Corvo V, a sniper rifle, in 50 BMG.
With Victrix Corvo, the energy is released on the target, not on the shooter. The strengths are managed aiming at the best control, thanks to the mechanical couplings and our high-level of precision machining stated by our production process.
