As part of Safariland’s increased interest in the CCW market, they’ve partnered up with Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners to produce the next evolution of the original HSP Incog IWB concealment holster – the IncogX. This newest evolution features red dot compatibility, adjustable attachments like a removable magazine caddy, a new toolless adjustable wedge, and a brand-new suede outer coating for increased comfort.

Coming July – Safariland and Haley Strategic Introduce the IncogX Holster

Its distinctive features enable concealed carry for a wide range of handgun fits from various carry positions while allowing for a full firing grip prior to drawing. The design features passive retention and adjustable tension functionality, allowing a fine-tuned holster firearm fit and draw feel.

This evolution of the IncogX features a series of clips that allow more adaptability to the end user while providing the original design intentions of enhanced grip acquisition, concealment, and functionality. The clips open outward and slide down with the holster, naturally locking in place over the belt. An actuated finger tab flexes to open, allowing quick installation or removal from the belt. An improved clip strut design combines functionality with customized concealment shims that can e easily installed or removed without any tools All IncogX models include clip strut shims in three different concealment enhancement sizes, 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″.

Set to launch on July 14th, 2023, the new IncogX holster is actually Safariland’s first direct partnership of this type. I was able to pick up an early sample of the IncogX at a media event hosted by Travis Haley and Haley Strategic Partners where we got to run the new IncogX holster inside the famous D7 Disruptive Performance Simulator. While I don’t have a ton of time carrying it around with me just yet, so far I do have to say the most striking improvement to me is the new suede outer coating which really makes it much more comfortable to wear all day. The IncogX is useable with or without a weapon-mounted light but is compatible with most compact weapon lights meant for guns like the Glock 19. The price of the new IncogX is said to be around $120 MSRP and will be available for a healthy amount of handgun fits upon launch on the 14th of July. Is it just me or does the price of holsters seem to have gotten out of hand?

@EscapeFromNY " I would rather one that bends with the body movements."

How do you mean? Leather? Mag and holster 'sewn' together?
