Partizan Solutions Announces DPP and Acro Mounts for ACOG

Newcomer gun accessory maker Partizan Solutions recently announced two new red dot mounts for ACOG scopes. The new ATLAS mounts are available in Acro or Delta Point Pro footprints.

The fixed magnification of the ACOG pairs well with an unmagnified secondary sight. Placing a micro red dot on top of an ACOG is not exactly a new idea. Similar mounts for Docter and RMR sights have been around for many years.

However, the world of micro red dots has exploded over the last few years. More and more pistols are coming from the factory set up for micro dots. And that means that more optics manufacturers are getting into the space as well.

Partizan Solutions’ new ATLAS mounts make it possible to mount many of these new red dot options on the venerable ACOG. Priced at $64.99, they will soon be available in two patterns. The Acro model can mount the Aimpoint Acro or other sights with the same footprint like the Steiner MPS. The DPP accepts Delta Point Pro footprints. The RMR is the only dot that has any business on top of an ACOG.

  @Thomas Jefferson Wolfcall The RMR has some of the worst fisheye of all pistol-sized red dots, with all that entails for less-than-perfect eye placement.

  @int19h And despite all of that, it's still bodied more dirkas than all the rest combined. I guess it boils down to the skill of the shooter if these things are enough to throw you off 🤷

  @Thomas Jefferson Wolfcall I don't know what you think it really tells us, except for the fact that Trijicon is really good at selling stuff to the US govt. Obviously any red dot is superior to irons, but why run an inferior red dot if you can have better options for less money? Sexual roleplay aside, anyway.

  @int19h I wish that a government contract would force Trijicon to make a better red dot. I'd like to buy things from not-China when the other offerings are better, but other than durability and probably QC, the RMR is not better than a Holosun.
  Even if I insisted on buying from not-China, the Aimpoint Acro P-2 offers a lot of benefits over the RMR for a government buyer (emitter weather resistance, no need to remove/re-zero for battery changes). That being said, RMRs might be cheap AF for the US government to buy in the same way that ACOGs are. Several years back, the USMC paid less per RCO than the Army did for per M68.

  @Beju I'm not even sure about durability at this point. I mean, high-end Holosun pistol dots have titanium housing, and they have a closed emitter offering like that too.
