I hope everyone had a nice pleasant Easter weekend and were not only able to get the family out for some nice outdoor activities but were also able to get in some trigger time. One of the coolest fun and most relaxed shooting sports I’ve come across in the last couple of years has been Egg Shoots. An Egg Shoot will vary depending on the local club or match director but the basic premise is simple – Grab a bunch of 22LR rifles and some eggs and start blasting them for points during a timed relay. While the activity still sometimes uses real eggs, with the number of shooters that show up to these events it’s more common these days to see steel or paper targets used instead to reduce both cost and waste. If you want to try out one of these activities but are afraid you won’t be able to find one after Easter, you’re in luck – Egg Shoots are conducted year-round at a lot of different shooting clubs. However, before you head out to play, you might want to stock up on a few supplies for the event. We’ll feature some of those today in TFB Weekly Web Deals 46!
