POTD: Handmade Wood Furniture Set For Heckler & Koch MP5K
It’s not very often that you can buy something that’s shown here on TFB’s Photo Of The Day, but today is an exception. What you’re looking at is a handmade wood furniture set for the Heckler & Koch MP5K, but there are other kits available from this artist.
I’ve always admired the MP5K as one of the coolest-looking PDWs, and I really hope I can own one in the future (I blame the gun laws where I live).
With its short barrel and folding stock,
It can be carried with ease around the clock,
In tight spaces, it truly shines,
It’s a weapon that’s truly divine.
What you see here is a model gun, an airsoft made by VFC ( Vega Force Company), but most of kalash_jay2‘s customers put the furniture on real guns.

I reached out to the maker, who is a private person. I was told that the price for the vertical grip is $220 and the stock goes for $200, which seems like a fair price considering they are handmade – with passion! He recently shipped 4 sets to a European gun dealer. He has confirmed that he does ship to the U.S. as well. Any business is of course between you and the seller.

Nice parts indeed.
I picked up a set of milsurp wood G3 furniture, stripped the ancient varnish, and re-finished with Tung oil. It works with a surplus leather sling on my PTR A3S. It's not the high-grade fancy-grain stuff you see on this MP5K; instead it's real HK furniture with real service provenance. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
