Flintlock provides an opportunity, along with other U.S. military-hosted events, for African nations to share their strategies and best practices to accelerate the collective ability to adapt and overcome the terrorist threat.

Ivorian soldiers are known to use the CTAR model of the Tavor made by IWI, with a shorter 15″ barrel with the Mor sight made by Meprolight. They also use the Micro Tavor X-95 with a Meprolight M21 sight.

Côte d’Ivoire, also known as Ivory Coast, is a West African country located in the Gulf of Guinea. It is bordered by Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ghana. The country has a population of over 28 million people.
