JTAC Industries, the company behind the bullpup Stribog concept, has announced a new aluminum handguard for these Slovakian PCCs/pistols. As its name implies, the new JTAC Industries Stribog Suppressor Compatible Handguard is designed to accommodate suppressors inside it and, of course, it adds extra M-LOK slots and extends the top Picatinny rail. JTAC Industries Stribog Suppressor Compatible Handguard is machined out of a 6061 aluminum extrusion and has a Type III hard coat anodized finish. It is available in 2.25”, 3.25”, 6” and 9” length options that weigh 3.8oz, 5oz, 7.5oz and 10.3oz respectively. The handguard has M-LOK slots at 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30 and 9 o’clock positions. The maximum suppressor diameter that this handguard will fit (when no M-LOK accessories are installed) is 1.625”. When there are M-LOK accessories installed on the handguard, the manufacturer recommends using suppressors that are not larger in diameter than 1.375”.
JTAC Industries Stribog Suppressor Compatible Handguard – the longest, 9″ version
JTAC Industries Stribog Suppressor Compatible Handguards are attached to Grand Power Stribogs using the M-LOK slots on the upper receiver and do not require any modifications to the host firearm. These handguards can be used with HB Industries charging blocks and factory backup iron sights. The new JTAC handguards are compatible with SP9A1, SP9A3 and SP9A3S models of Stribogs. Depending on the model of your Stribog pistol/PCC and JTAC handguard length, you’ll need to have a certain minimum barrel, barrel extension or suppressor length.
