Speer Impact Bullet NEW To Remington Premier Long Range Ammunition

Speer Impact Bullet NEW To Remington Premier Long Range Ammunition

When I hear the name Speer, I think of duty ammunition, probably due to the type of shooting I do. However, those who take fewer shots in more rugged environments equate the name with one-shot stops on their prey. Equally known in the hunting and long-range world, Remington has joined forces with Speer, its sister brand. The Speer Impact bullet is now available for the first time in Remington’s Premier Long Range Ammunition.

The Speer Impact line uses a bonded bullet. This is used to promote deeper penetration at long ranges while ensuring the bullet doesn’t break up at closer ranges. The bullets use the Slipstream polymer tip, designed to expand at 200 feet per second less than regular polymer tips. The Impact bullet will be available in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, 270 Win, 30-06 Sprg, .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, and .300 Rem Ultra Mag.
