TFB Podcast Roundup 83: Everyone is Worried About the Future

Hello and welcome to TFB podcast roundup 73! We’re back from our annual hiatus when virtually the entire TFB/TFBTV crew is at SHOT Show 2023 and we should be getting back to our regular podcast roundup schedule as well as some fresh episodes of the TFB Behind The Gun Podcast. Since I wear multiple hats at SHOT, we’re also bringing back our Editor in Chief and host of the TFB Behind The Gun Podcast, Pete, to help out with some great episodes recorded right at SHOT Show, in person. Other than that, we’ll be getting back on track with our weekly podcast roundups as well and this week I’m catching up on everything that I’ve missed so we’ve got more of a grab bag of episodes and subjects this week compared to previous weeks. As always, sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s selection of gun podcast listening!

On this episode, Seth is joined by Senior Ballistician, Jayden Quinlan. In recent episodes, we’ve covered using statistically valid sample sizes to determine rifle and shooter capability. This episode expands on that, and tries to answer questions like, “why don’t all bullets go into a one hold group?” and “what are the factors that cause group dispersion?”. Many of the things that influence where a bullet goes are misunderstood and this podcast explores those factors.

TFB Behind The Gun Podcast #55: Katarina with Falco Holsters

    Length: 20 Minutes

On Today’s episode of TFB’s Behind The Gun Podcast, we’ve bought on Katarina, the director of sales from Falco Holsters. Falco Holsters is a holster manufacturing company that grew out of Slovakia’s traditional hunting practices in which many hunters use falcons and use thick leather gloves to handle the birds. From there the company expanded into producing quality leather holsters, many of which are still available today made from the best top-grain leather that Slovakia has to offer. Today on the podcast Katarina and I discuss the company history of Falco, some of their products, as well as how a holster manufacturing company is managing to thrive in the relatively gun-unfriendly territory of the European Union. Please welcome Katarina from Falco Holsters to the show!
