[SHOT 2023] New No Baffle Vanquish Suppressors from Angstadt Arms

Angstadt Arms unveiled two new no-baffle Vanquish suppressors at SHOT Show 2023.  The first was showcased on their AR-9 pattern pistols and rifles, and the second was a totally new barrel for the 10/22 family of rifles.  I had a chance to sit down with Angstadt Arms staff and get the details on these radically new suppressors.

Two versions of the Vanquish suppressors were on display, and the one I was not expecting was this integrally suppressed barrel for the 10/22 and 10/22 takedown.

This heavier profile barrel is built around the industry 10/22 standard and will fit any stock that accepts 10/22 bull barrel profile.

Their staff was quick to point out that the installation of these barrels is very easy, and only requires the removal of three screws.

For those already familiar with 22 suppressors and how difficult they can be to clean, Angstadt Arms was quick to point out that a no-baffle design is far easier to clean.  Better yet, these barrels are ported and will render even CCI Mini-Mag ammunition subsonic.  MSRP on the Vanquish 10/22 standard 18in barrel is $599.  The 16in Takedown barrel price is still TBD at this time.  These are expected to ship in Q3 of this year.

The 10/22 wasn’t the only Vanquish barrel on display, and there were a couple UDP-9 equipped uppers on display as well.

Rather than using a traditional baffle design, the Vanquish uses a series of barrel ports inside a reflex-style silencer.  This gives the suppressor more internal volume while working to dissipate gasses in a controlled manner.

As there are no baffles, the Vanquish has a very small profile that fits easily under standard-size handguards.  Two versions of the Vanquish 9mm (10.5in and 16in) will be available at launch, and these are also expected to be released in Q3 of this year.

Angstadt Arms also hinted that there will be more barrels coming for other platforms in the very near future.  For more information on the Angstadt Arms no-baffle suppressor design, check out the TFBtv Showtime video below.  Thanks for reading, and thanks to the Angstadt Arms staff for taking the time to answer all my questions.
