[SHOT 2023] YHM Fat Cat 5.56 Silencer

YHM announced their newest 5.56 suppressor, The Fat Cat, at SHOT Show 2023. The Fat Cat uses a smaller section at the rear that tapers into a larger suppressor body. This unique design allows The Fat Cat to be tucked under rails for a shorter overall length. The wide body design aims to provide full-length 5.56 suppression in a smaller overall package. Here’s a closer look at the new Fat Cat silencer from YHM.

FULL SIZE PERFORMANCE IN A COMPACT PACKAGE
That’s what you get with the FatCat suppression system from YHM. We designed the FatCat to be as small as possible while giving similar performance to full-sized 5.56mm suppressors.

[SHOT 2023] YHM Fat Cat 5.56 Silencer - sRx Muzzle Device

The FatCat features the new sRx mounting system to help keep the overall length of the suppressor as short as possible. It features a unique blast chamber that allows for part of the suppressor to “tuck” into most AR15 hand guards. The large volume of the suppressor combined with a unique blast baffle arrangement results in a low, pleasant tone and reduced blowback to the user.
