Daniel Defense unveiled their new SOUNDGUARD suppressor line as well as a folding stock adapter for their rifle chassis at SHOT Show 2023.  Their new silencers are designed for minimal point of impact (POI) shift and are compatible with existing direct thread and QD mounting systems on the market.  Here’s a closer look at the new silencers and folding stock adapter.

Daniel SoundGuard Powered by KGM Suppressors utilize cutting-edge gas-flow dynamics that eliminate over-gassing and direct most gasses forward, not back in a shooter’s face. So, you experience less toxic gas blowback and can concentrate on putting more shots on target. State-of-the-art KGM technology significantly lowers impulse noise levels, protecting against hearing loss, while a patent-pending baffle stack and proprietary coating on internal parts reduce a firearm’s flash signature to virtually zero. Patent-pending gas-flow pathing stabilizes rounds to ensure extreme accuracy with minimal point-of-impact shift.

Daniel Defense is bringing three variants of its newest SOUNDGUARD suppressor to market.  The SOUNDGUARD SG-556, SG-30, and SG-30 Ti.  All three new suppressors will ship with a removable direct thread mount.  The removable mount comes in the HUB standard 1.375-24 UNS thread pitch for use with other direct thread and QD mounts currently on the market.

The design features small ports at the front to vent exiting gas outward and reduce recoil.  The SG-30 Ti variant takes this a step further and includes threaded screws for these ports to further tune the suppressor.  MSRP on the SOUNDGUARD series silencers is $750 for the SG-556 and SG-30 and $1,000 for the SG-30 Ti.  All these silencers are currently available via SilencerShop.
