If anyone wants to modify their gun, they're free do it however they want to, but I'm going to be that guy and say extended magazine releases probably shouldn't be used on a carry gun, in this case, the P365. I've seen plenty of videos of people accidentally dropping their magazine in a shooting, but I've never heard of a single case where the .1 second difference between reloading with the extended mag release and the stock one made the difference between life and death.

I installed a Vuurwapen extended mag release (check Omaha Outdoors website) because, unlike the stock P365 mag release, the Vuurwapen's face is completely parallel to the slide, and doesn't have the inward curve that made it difficult for me to actuate the stock mag release. It's the only one I've found with that flat face. It doesn't interfere with either of my P365 holsters, fyi. I can't exactly tell from the pictures, but it looks like the Tyrant has the stock P365 angled face, which seems to be fine for most people.
