Kinetic Research Group (KRG) now offers their Bravo chassis system lineup for Savage and Ruger American rifles. It is a drop-in solution for both rifles with no gunsmithing required.

NEW From KRG: Bravo Chassis for Ruger American and Savage Rifles
The Bravo chassis looks more like a traditional stock than what most people expect when they hear the word “chassis.” Despite that appearance, it incorporates many of the benefits of a chassis while maintaining the ergonomics of a stock. No bottom metal is required to use AICS magazines in the Bravo. This is a major cost saving compared to a standard rifle stock.
KRG already offered the Bravo for Remington, Tikka, and Howa actions. The new Savage model works with short actions with a side bolt release and weighs 3.3 pounds. The Ruger American works with any short action model and weighs in at 3 pounds.

Now you can have all the great features of the Bravo Chassis for your Ruger American! Introducing the Ruger American Bravo Chassis – a plug and play solution that will transform your rifle into something new!
The Ruger American Bravo Chassis is AICS magazine compatible out of the box, with no add-on “bottom metal” required. All you will need is an AICS pattern mag (sold separately) compatible with your caliber. Installation consists of seating the barreled action into the inlet and torquing the included action screws down – no need to send it to your gunsmith!
In keeping with an ergonomic and expandable design the Ruger American Bravo Chassis comes standard with length of pull spacers and a tool-less adjustable cheekpiece so you can fit the rifle to you and not the other way around – leading to greater comfort and repeatability on the range!
