POTD: Magnum Research BFR 45-70 Thunder Snub

Magnum Research BFR Thunder Snub Revolver

The smallest long-cylinder Biggest Finest Revolver is what we have for today’s Photo Of The Day. Dubbed BFR Thunder Snub, this Magnum Research wheelgun is chambered in .45-70 Government and although it has a 3″ barrel, its overall length is over 10″ and it weighs in at around 3.5 lbs. So it’s small compared to its siblings but it will dwarf any normal snubby. Here is what Kahr Firearms Group (parent company of Magnum Research) said in the social media post where they shared the picture above:

Lightning, meet Thunder. This @magnumresearchinc BFR Thunder Snub .45-70 might just be one of the ultimate Hand Cannons ever made. We can assure you, the muzzle flash is just as incredible as you can imagine.
