Brownells Keymount flash hiders are machined out of 4140 chrome moly steel and have a nitrided finish. Both versions of these flash hiders are available in .223 and .300 calibers with 1/2×28 and 5/8×24 mounting threads respectively. The length of Brownells Keymount flash hiders is tailored to increase the length of 13.7″ barrels to 16″ when pinned on welded on them (the overall length of the flash hiders is not specified). The actual flash hider part that goes into the suppressor is kept to a minimum length to make these muzzle devices compatible with a wider variety of KeyMo suppressors. The rear portion is lengthened to provide a larger working surface for pinning and welding.

Brownells Keymount flash hiders can be purchased from the company’s website for $104.99. The price is identical for both types and caliber options.
