All Business, No Frills: The New Complete ZEV OZ9 Duty
The OZ9 Duty embraces the rough and tumble world of Law Enforcement and self-defense-minded citizens. Made for those who conceal carry and those who need a utilitarian firearm but demand performance. The Duty comes in three sizes, Standard, X Carry, and Compact, and maintains the full modularity of the OZ9 family.
Each size of the OZ9 Duty will start at a base price of $1,099 making the Duty series one of the most affordable options from ZEV thus far. Each OZ9 Duty will still feature the company’s patented Steel Receiver, black nitride finished slide and barrel, and the ZEV PRO curved face trigger. The unique trigger/receiver combo allows for grip upgrades without the need to completely disassemble the pistol.
Built with ZEV’s windowless Duty slide, PRO matchbarrel, and PRO Curved Face Trigger, the OZ9 Duty is tailored to meet the stringent requirements of the discerning professional user.
The OZ9 was designed and created for balance. It’s one of the first things you notice when holding this pistol. Balance equates to what every shooter is looking for; a more controllable pistol with less felt recoil, less muzzle flip and faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
Each trim of the OZ9 Duty will feature an RMR footprint cut slide to go along with the duty mindset that the new handgun has already going for it.
