Italian FABARM (Fabbrica Bresciana Armi) first published pictures of their new SDASS PRO Stage 2 pump action shotguns at the beginning of the year and now they have added them to the Law Enforcement section of their website. This new generation of SDASS (Special Defence And Security Shotgun) shotguns currently includes two models – SDASS PRO Forces Stage 2 and SDASS PRO Telescopic Stage 2. The main difference between the two models is in the furniture design.

FABARM SDASS PRO Forces Stage 2

The FABARM SDASS PRO Forces Stage 2 shotgun has a fixed polymer stock with an integrated pistol grip and adjustable cheekpiece. The FABARM SDASS PRO Telescopic Stage 2 has AR-style adjustable stock and pistol grip and comes standard with a FAB Defense GL-CORE stock and GRADUS grip installed. The length of pull on the fixed stock model is 12.6” (320mm) and the LOP of Telescopic Stage 2 can be adjusted between 10.4″ to 13.6″ (265mm – 340mm). The overall length of the SDASS PRO Forces Stage 2 is 40.35″ (1025mm). The adjustable model’s length is 36.5″ (927mm), presumably with a fully collapsed stock. The overall weight of these shotguns is almost identical, about 7lbs 9oz (3.43-3.44 kg).

FABARM SDASS PRO Telescopic Stage 2

Both new FABARM SDASS PRO Stage 2 shotguns feature 20″ satin blued barrels chambered in 12 gauge with 3″ chambers and Tribore HP bores rated for steel shot. Thes shotguns also come standard with muzzle brakes and cooling barrel jackets. The receivers are made of Ergal 55 alloy and along with the barrel jackets, have a Carbon Grey Cerakote finish. The SDASS PRO Stage 2 shotguns also feature a barrel-mounted Picatinny scope rail extending back over the receiver and a rail section for the front sight. They come with FAB Defense flip-up iron sights installed. The capacity of the full-length magazine tube is 7 rounds for both models.
