POTD: The CZ Bren 2 in Action
There’s a lot of action in today’s Photo Of The Day, with the CZ Bren 2 at the playgrounds of NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia. Almost three years ago, the Czech Army decided they will be using CZ Bren 2 as their standard-issue rifle, and here they let their NATO friends try it out to the fullest.
The caption from NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Latvia reads:
Five teams consisting of Forward Observers and Joint Terminal Attack Controllers from Spain and Slovakia continue their training in the classroom this week. Taking advantage of the cost effective technology, simulators can provide changes in weather, ammunition, targets and terrain while the group can continue honing their skills to artillery and air defence. This type of training is an essential part of NATO’s commitment to combat readiness.

Pretty cool images, don’t you think?

I still want a 14 inch 5.56 variant for a no rational reason
I have a Sig MCX, Sig MCX Virtus and waiting on the MCX Spear. Being the owner of various AR style rifles, I find the SIG platform to be very user friendly and reliable, don't see the need to add the BREN to my pile.
