Honestly, I challenge you to think of a more American gun than the Mossberg Shockwave.  Sure, there have been others that have been iconic, but like it or not, this is what pure Americana looks like.  It doesn’t need any tax stamps, can be ironically or unironically racked for effect and comes in the most purely useless and beautiful camo ever created.

I’ll admit I was a huge fan or Carnik Con, and the episode on “Meriflage” is a standout gem in their production.  I’ll never be sure if that’s what sparked guns like this, but I certainly hope so.  The Mossberg 590 Shockwave was never going to be the most comfortable or fun gun to shoot, but it does work.  For a gun as compact as it is, sometimes that’s all you really need.  You’re certainly not going to take this hunting, so why not have some fun with it.

So what is a gun like this worth in today’s market?  Certainly, there’s a bit of an upcharge for the Cerakote work, but is it worth it with a starting bid of $699 or would you prefer to buy something else entirely?  Of course, I leave that up to you, the readers, to decide.
