Our Photo Of The Day can be anything related to firearms, and sometimes – but very rarely – we extend the topic beyond that. Over the years, we have covered a vast number of firearms, soldiers and armies around the world. Today we have a Rocket Launch on the menu. Above you can see soldiers fire an M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System. This happened during Exercise Dynamic Front 2022 in the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, in July 2022.

The M270 is pretty good if you need to destroy something far away, with really good precision. The maximum firing range with the so-called ATACMS rockets is 165 to 300 km (up to 190 miles). The MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) is manufactured by Lockheed Martin. This rocket can also be used in HIMARS vehicles.
