Savage Arms has released the A22 TAKEDOWN, which they call a “go-anywhere rimfire rifle“. This is a take-down semi-automatic .22LR rimfire rifle with an 18” carbon steel barrel and low-profile sights. For optics and other attachments, there is also a 0-MOA Picatinny rail with an iron sight channel through it. According to Savage Arms, you only need a simple twist to break down the rifle. The MSRP is set at $479.
