Springfield Armory is now offering their Hellcat Pro 9x19mm CCW pistol in Desert FDE. The frame is molded from the polymer in Desert FDE, and the slide uses a matched Cerakote finish. Apart from looking great in this color, the slide is Optics Ready using the Springfield Micro footprint.

The 3.7″ barrel is hammer forged with a Melonite finish. The magazines are the same as the original model, with a capacity of 15+1 rounds. The MSRP is $677.
If you prefer using traditional sights, this Hellcat Pro comes with Tritium/Luminescent front sights with a Tactical Rack U-Notch at the rear.

GENESEO, ILL. – Combining class-leading concealability with the performance of a larger handgun to provide an exceptional everyday carry pistol, Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the release of the Hellcat® Pro 9mm pistol in Desert Flat Dark Earth (FDE).
Designed to deliver the perfect balance, the Desert FDE Hellcat Pro is a compact pistol chambered in 9mm that offers 15+1 capacity in a smaller footprint than any other gun in its class. The 9mm pistol packs in impressive capacity while still maintaining the ergonomic, slim profile of the original Hellcat for seamless concealability.
At just 1″ wide, the slim-line grip feels superb in the hand, increasing contact and control, while the additional mass in the longer slide and barrel translates into reduced muzzle flip and faster follow-up shots. The lightweight polymer frame features our Adaptive Grip Texture™, a seamless, pressure-activated texture featuring a pattern of staggered pyramid shapes. The taller pyramids have a flattened top to ensure comfort against the body, while the shorter pyramids come to a point and are engaged when the pistol is firmly gripped.
Developed with the use of red dot optics in mind, the Hellcat Pro features an OSP™ (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration. The slide is milled with the Springfield Micro™ footprint, designed to direct mount the smallest, most popular micro red dots on the market for the lowest mount possible. Backing up your choice of optic is an excellent set of co-witnessing U-Dot™ sights, made up of a high visibility tritium & luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight.
The Hellcat Pro’s proven performance helped it gain the respected and highest “gold” ranking in the “Member Tested and Recommended” (MTR) program of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). The NTOA is a non-profit organization with tens of thousands of members dedicated to serving the law enforcement community by providing credible and proven training and information resources.
