When SIG Sauer and SIG Sauer Electro-Optics first announced the introduction of their SIG Spear (M5) rifle they also paired it with a specific trim of the TANGO6T 1-6x24mm LPVO optic. This specific trim was designed and accepted by the U.S. Military and was dubbed the TANGO6T DVO or Direct View Optic. This optic system comes complete with the ALPHA4 mount, lay-flat flip caps, and an anti-reflection device and is now being made available for purchase by the general public for the first time.

SIG Sauer’s TANGO6T DVO Military Optic Now available for Purchase

SIG SAUER’s TANGO6T series of riflescopes has rapidly become the U.S. Military standard for Low-Power Variable Optics (LPVOs), delivering fast target acquisition and extreme performance at both close and mid-ranges. The TANGO6T DVO is the latest variant now available to shooters and hunters, designed for today’s common MSR/AR and bolt action platforms, featuring an illuminated Hellfire reticle as well as industry-leading light transmission and optical clarity. The TANGO6T is complete with our HDX optical system for extreme clarity and low-light performance, HellFire fiber optic and glass-etched illuminated reticles, and first or second-focal plane designs.

The SIG Sauer TANGO6T DVO will come complete with the Hellfire DWLR-556 FFP glass-etched reticle that features an illuminated red horseshoe, pyramid structure holdovers, and is specifically calibrated for the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. Another interesting thing to note is the construction of the ALPHA4 mount which is made from a combination of aircraft-grade 6068 aluminum rings and paired with titanium hardware. A throw lever is also included in the package with the TANGO6T.
