Strike Industries have released the new Strike Micro Threaded Comp (SMTC) family of handgun muzzle devices. This new product line currently includes two 9mm pistol compensators called CIRCLE and QUAD. Both muzzle devices have side muzzle brake ports and a top muzzle rise compensation port. The CIRCLE (the left one in the picture above) has a simpler low-profile design whereas the QUAD is taller with larger side ports. Let’s take a look at the specs and performance of each of these new SI comps.

Strike Micro Threaded Comp – CIRCLE

According to Strike Industries, on average, the CIRCLE and QUAD compensators provide 8-15% and 15-30% reduction of felt recoil respectively. The video below demonstrates the performance of the two comps compared to a bare muzzle.
